Bill and Rose Bassett are the owners of Bassett Small Engine Parts and Repair. Let me tell you a little about them.   Bill and Rose Bassett are a good team. He takes care of the repairs, she takes care of the parts. They are thrifty and believe in being honest with people. They have always lived by the Golden Rule. They believe in helping each other, neighbors helping neighbors.

Bill Bassett has been tinkering with engines since he was a little boy. He has always enjoyed taking things apart and fixing them. His brothers used to tease him that his favorite gift would be a barrel full of oil and parts to see what he could put together.

For over 20 years, he ran a lawn maintenance business. He was the owner and the person who made sure all the equipment worked. He had friends who had a small engine repair shop that he would help out whenever they needed extra help. They knew that he did good work that was always done correctly the first time. He would not only fix something, he would find out why it broke in the first place.

He takes pride in the fact that he diagnoses each piece. It is important to know why something broke so it can be corrected so it won't break again.

Bill feels that it is important to be honest with customers. He will give you an honest estimate on what needs to be done, and will do it correctly.

Rose Bassett takes care of all the paperwork. She looks up the parts that are needed. She shops around to get the best prices for the parts for our customers.  If you need a part for your equipment, she can find it for you.
